Husbands should share their salary

Sarah Connor thinks men should share their salaries with their wives as long as they do most of the family chores.
Sarah Connor (40, "How beautiful you are") campaigns in a guest post to reward so-called care work in marriage, i.e. managing the family and the household, as well as wage work – by dividing the husband's salary becomes. "As long as this work is not paid for by the state, working men should pay their wives who manage their children and the common household, half of their available salary," writes the singer, according to a previous announcement in the weekly newspaper "Die Zeit".
The guest article will appear on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8th. In it, the mother of four refers in her argumentation to divorce cases in which women are compensated for lost wages. "Why should there only be such a settlement in the event of a divorce? Wouldn't it be more fair if it would become the standard in functioning marriages – because the marriages would then work even better?"
