In a recently published episode of the podcast “Eglix Extrem” by Beatrice Egli, 35, bravely spoke to Sarah Engels, 31, about beauty ideals, experiences with hate comments and the pressure to conform to the supposed beauty standard. The singer revealed that she had also thought about cosmetic surgery in the past.
Sarah Engels: Your breasts have changed
There seems to be an almost unspoken beauty competition among celebrities on social media. It’s not always easy to stay true to yourself. Engels speaks clearly about the physical changes she experienced through her two pregnancies and goes into the volume of her breasts: “After the first pregnancy there wasn’t much left and after the second there was almost nothing left,” says The mother of two is honest and at the same time makes it clear that there is nothing wrong with that. The physical changes are simply part of being a woman and mother through breastfeeding or gaining and losing weight. “I see that as normal,” Engels continued. Nevertheless, she had already thought about an operation in the past. “I was always so glad that I didn’t do it,” says the influencer.

But hatred also contributes to the thoughts being able to find a breeding ground at all. “You don’t have any breasts anymore,” “you should get your breasts done,” the former “DSDS” star imitates the evil voices in the comments and at the same time denounces who decides what is really beautiful. Some people prefer flatter chests, others prefer volume! In short: every person has a different perception of beauty. Egli also shares her experience: “As a teenager, I had very large (breasts) at an early age and that was a real burden for me.” This idea represented so much pressure that the pop star even thought about downsizing. “I’m so glad today I didn’t do it” – and the two singers agree on that. “We can also be proud that we are women,” Engels concludes the discussion.
