Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband will soon be back on Broadway! In March 2022 they will celebrate their theatrical comeback with “Plaza Suite”.

Sarah Jessica Parker (56) and her husband Matthew Broderick (59) will soon be sharing the stage again! In the play “Plaza Suite” (“Hotel Whisper”) the two actors play three different couples; on March 28, 2022, the performances on Broadway will officially start again. “We are overjoyed to be able to welcome guests to the Hudson Theater again soon,” said Parker and Broderick in a statement, the “Variety” is available. Your anticipation is hardly limited: “We just can’t wait any longer!”

“Plaza Suite” premiered on Broadway in 1968. In 1971 the play was filmed with Walter Matthau (1920-2000) and Maureen Stapleton (1925-2006) in the lead roles, followed in 1987 by a television film with Carol Burnett (88). The comedy by Neil Simon (1927-2018) tells the story of three different couples who appear one after the other in Suite 719 in New York’s City Plaza Hotel and are confronted with some problems.

Parker and Broderick are a dream theater team

However, it is not the first time Parker and her husband have appeared on stage together. Before that, they played in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The two actors have been married since 1997 and have three children: a son, James Wilkie (18), and two twin daughters, Tabitha Hodge (12) and Marion Loretta Elwell (12). They live together in New York.
