Scalahaus Holzbau – bankrupt company has 21 million euros in debt

The public prosecutor is investigating against the boss of the bankrupt company Scalahaus. It’s about more than 21 million euros.

The bankruptcy of the prefabricated house provider Scalahaus from Eugendorf near Salzburg is even more massive than previously assumed. 461 creditors registered claims of more than 23 million euros. The court recognized 21.17 million euros of this in the examination day statute on Monday. So far, debts of 13 million euros were “only” assumed. The house builders Mario Reiter and Daniela Moßhammer are two of the countless victims. The Bürmooser transferred almost 51,000 euros to the bankrupt company. They got nothing apart from the submission plans. “The money is gone” “The money is gone,” Moßhammer is sure. The credit protection association KSV1870, which classifies the chances of success for creditors as “marginal”, takes a similar view. All model houses have already been sold – the proceeds only cover a fraction of the debt. Scalahaus billed until shortly before bankruptcy Last year, Scalahaus’ balance sheet showed a loss in the millions. All this did not stop the provider from making demands on customers to the last. The public prosecutor’s office is now investigating. Especially bold: Scalahaus assured until the end that all open projects would be completed. Affected home builders should get offers from partner companies. “We and many others didn’t get anything at all,” Moßhammer is beside himself.
