Schneider Electric is in turn embracing artificial intelligence. And the company also wants to make this technology available to individuals.

Since the emergence of ChatGPT, artificial intelligence has performed so well that all sectors have started to study how they can use these new tools to their advantage. This is also what Schneider Electric is doing, which wants to be able to use AI at several levels to improve its services. Which could result in potential savings on the electricity bill!

Microgrid Advisor, to serve you

“Microgrid Advisor”. It’s a name that doesn’t mean much to you, but is that of a tool, perfected by AI, that Schneider Electric makes available to professionals. “ It is able to predict the consumption of your building within 48 hours (updated every quarter of an hour), to predict the production of your solar panels, your batteries, the quality of the network for the next 48 hours and beyond. to optimise » Philippe Rambach, AI manager at Schneider Electric, told AFP.

A tool that is currently not available if you are a private individual. For this audience, it will be necessary to wait until summer, during which time it will begin to be marketed much more widely, under the “Wiser” brand.

AI also used internally

Schneider Electric also wants to take greater ownership of AI, by offering it to the market on the one hand, and on the other by using it internally. The French giant wants to set up a system based on AI which recommends to its sellers which product to offer depending on the customer in front of them.

To create such a machine, Schneider Electric, like all those who develop their AI, had to use a very large amount of data. 2 million quotes produced over a period of five years were used to feed the machine, to refine its judgment. Is the French company a pioneer?
