Schneider: towards zero emissions with Aveva and Shell – 2022-09-26 at 13:00

(CercleFinance.com) – Schneider Electric, Aveva and Shell have formed a global strategic alliance to support their respective agendas and those of broader sectors for the transition to net-zero.

Organizations will explore opportunities to co-develop end-to-end integrated energy solutions designed to drive decarbonization for their customers in hard-to-master sectors, such as cement.

The partnership agreement will bring customers an enhanced set of integrated solutions with greater range, scale and reach than either could offer alone. The alliance aims to reduce emissions by up to 15% for customers in a typical deployment.

“Our companies have strong ambitions to achieve net zero emissions,” says Harry Brekelmans, director of projects and technology at Shell.

“These partnerships, essential to decarbonization, bring benefits to all parties and accelerate the global energy transition,” adds Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric.

“We have already seen the benefits in terms of safety, reliability and efficiency in many previous engagements,” says Peter Herweck, Managing Director of Aveva.
