Screen tipped away – German after a crash with a paraglider in the hospital

A 35-year-old was injured in a crash with his paraglider on Friday afternoon in the Ausserfern region of Tyrol. The German had just started at the Neunerköpfle in the Tannheim area when his glider gave way.

At around 3:15 p.m., the 35-year-old left Neunerköpfle for his flight. But as the police reported, the glider tipped forward immediately after take-off, causing the paraglider to hit the ground with his right shoulder. He was then dragged about five meters across the meadow before he was injured. The rescue helicopter went out to rescue the man. He was treated by an ambulance at the scene of the accident. The helicopter then flew him to the district hospital in Reutte.
