A reality show about Sean “Diddy” Combs has been canceled. The allegations of alleged sexual assault could be the reason.

A planned reality show and documentary series about the family of Sean “Diddy” Combs (45) has been canceled. As the industry magazine “Variety” reports, the streaming service Hulu stopped development at an early stage. According to the report, the reason for the cancellation was most likely the lawsuits filed alleging sexual assault. The series was worked on under the working title “Diddy+7” and was to be produced by James Corden’s (45) production company Fulwell 73.

Rapper and music producer Sean Combs is currently accused of raping a then 17-year-old high school student along with two other men. That reported, among other things the channel “CNN” citing court documents filed. The woman claims she was the victim of a gang rape in 2003. She was given drugs and alcohol and taken on a private jet to New York, where the alleged assault occurred in a studio.

She named Combs and Harve Pierre, the former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, the company the rapper founded, as well as a third man. As a result, the woman has had to live with “significant emotional stress and feelings of shame” over the past 20 years. She is demanding damages in an undisclosed amount.

“I didn’t do any of the terrible things”

According to US reports, three other women had previously made allegations against Combs for alleged sexual assault. In November, the rapper and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura (37) agreed to an out-of-court settlement – just a day after the singer filed a civil lawsuit alleging abuse and rape. A lawyer for the accused Combs told the broadcaster in a statement that the settlement was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”

“Enough is enough,” says Combs in a statement was published on Instagram, among other places. In recent weeks, he has watched quietly as people tried to destroy his reputation and legacy. “Disgusting allegations” have been made against him by people who, according to him, are just out to make a quick buck. He said he “did none of the terrible things I’m accused of. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
