The GAK consolidated its lead in the 2nd football league with its tenth win in its twelfth game of the season. At SV Horn on Friday, the Graz team struggled to a late 2-1 (1-1), which meant that coach Gernot Messner’s team temporarily extended their lead over pursuers Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz to nine points. Amstetten had to survive the final phase outnumbered after a yellow-red card for Nicolas Andermatt (79th). DSV Leoben prevailed against Admira 3-2 (3-1) thanks to a brace from Deni Alar. SV Lafnitz celebrated a clear 5:2 (4:1) victory in the Styrian derby against the Sturm Amateure.
