“Secret Story” makes its comeback this Tuesday evening on TF1. The candidates who will join the famous House of Secrets will be guided by the Voice… But not the one that everyone expected… To everyone’s surprise, the actor who played him announced that he was leaving the reality TV-show.
Fans of Secret Story risk being completely disoriented… This Tuesday evening, everyone will be in front of TF1 to witness the big return of the cult show, broadcast just after Koh Lanta. The famous “Here the Voice” will ring out in the House of Secrets to guide the new candidates. Until then, nothing too disturbing… Except that the Voice will no longer be the Voice, or at least the one we all know.
Dominique Duforest leaves Secret Story
“The Voice has decided to pass the torch to a new Voice,” announced the man who embodied it to perfection, Dominique Duforest, pillar of the program. The actor with a deep voice thrilled the candidates and viewers during the first eleven editions of the reality TV show, broadcast between 2007 and 2017. So much so that he truly became part of the legend of Secret Story. His departure was totally unexpected. “I’m stopping,” he said facing the camera in a video shared on the cult game’s social networks. And his decision was carefully considered: “Because first of all, the show stopped for seven years and, in the meantime, I had a life. I have several strings to my bow and the Voice was just one of those vocal strings of course.”
Despite his departure from the show, Dominique Duforest wanted to participate in the promotion of this season 12. His voice notably resounded in the Parisian metro to tease the comeback of Secret Story. The actor wanted to say goodbye to his audience gently. Today he wants to reassure him: the new Voice will be up to the task and even more, it will surprise viewers!
