Seine-Saint-Denis: a man shot dead in a park

A 40-year-old man was shot dead on Tuesday evening in the Sausset park (Seine-Saint-Denis), AFP learned on Wednesday April 27 from a police source and from the prosecution.

The facts took place around 9:30 p.m., behind the Villepinte RER station in the Sausset departmental park, located in both the municipalities of Villepinte and Aulnay-sous-Bois, according to the police source. The victim was discovered there in cardio-respiratory arrest, with serious injuries to the skull and face. Despite cardiac massages, the man died half an hour later. Three rammed 7.65mm caliber holsters were near the body, the source said.

According to witnesses who heard detonations, two people later fled towards the city of 3000 in Aulnay-sous-Bois, adjacent to the park. An investigation for intentional homicide was opened by the Bobigny prosecutor’s office and entrusted to the Paris criminal brigade.
