The north of Ile-de-France was the scene of a mad chase on Wednesday afternoon between two men aboard a powerful Yamaha TMAX scooter and bikers from the Motorized Violent Actions Repression Brigade (BRAV-M), has learned Le Figaro from a police source Thursday, February 10, confirming information from Actu17.

It was from a roadside check carried out by BRAV-M police officers, at the Porte de Saint-Ouen around 3 p.m., that the facts degenerated: the driver of the scooter, ordered to stop, refused to comply and accelerates, failing to bring down the officials, according to our police source.
A dangerous chase begins, which will bring the fleeing suspects and the motorized agents to the town of Stains, in Seine-Saint-Denis. At the level of the Clos Saint-Lazare district, one of the police officers on a motorcycle violently collided with a vehicle in circulation, injuring himself slightly. He would have been hospitalized but would not have sequelae, according to our information.

One of the suspects was then immediately arrested, but the second man fled by seizing a car – of the Renault Mégane type, we are told – empty of any occupant and with the engine running.
He accelerates suddenly and almost knocks over a BRAV-M agent, who opens fire four times, says our police source. Still on the run this Thursday evening, active searches are underway to find the vehicle, whose window is broken, and its occupant. An investigation has been opened.
