A woman and her child were killed with knives in Aubervilliers during the night from Friday to Saturday. If the circumstances of the tragedy are still unclear, the father has been taken into custody. A man was taken into custody, suspected of having stabbed his wife and child on the night from Friday to Saturday in Aubervilliers, said a police source and the Bobigny prosecutor’s office. Around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, the emergency services intervened in an apartment in the city center of Aubervilliers to take care of three people including a child. The mother and child died soon after.
The circumstances of the drama still unclear
The sister of the respondent, also injured, was transported in absolute urgency to the hospital. In addition to the “family context”, the circumstances of the drama are still unclear for the time being, said the prosecution. The man was taken into custody. The investigation opened for homicide on spouse and parent and for attempted homicide was entrusted to the judicial police service of the department.
