Senegal-Egypt, CAN 2022 final: what time and on what channel?

The CAN 2022 final will see Egypt, in search of an 8th title, and Senegal, who dream of a first coronation, face each other this Sunday in Yaoundé (Cameroon). Here is the full TV schedule.

Sadio Mané on one side. Mohamed Salah on the other. If they are teammates throughout the season in Liverpool, the two best players in Africa will be opponents in the Cameroonian capital. Before meeting in March in Cairo and Dakar for an explosive barrage towards the World Cup in Qatar, they will try to take their country to the roof of the African continent.

If the two teams had a complicated start in the competition, they grew in power to climb to the final, guided by their masters to play. Egypt and Salah dismissed Côte d’Ivoire (0-0, 5 pens to 4), Morocco (2-1 after) and Cameroon (0-0, 3 pens to 1), while Senegal and Mané took out Cape Verde reduced to nine (2-0), Equatorial Guinea (3-1) and Burkina Faso (3-1).

Salah’s Egypt and Mané’s Senegal both remain in a lost final, against Cameroon in 2017 for the Pharaohs (2-1) and against Algeria in 2019 (0-1) for the Lions of the Teranga. Both will seek to erase this bad memory to offer an 8and crown in Egypt for Mohamed Salah and a very first coronation in Senegal for Sadio Mané.
