Seniors’ Fair – shake a leg and start studying

From tomorrow onwards the motto at the Vienna Trade Fair will be “All Lust for Life”. Exciting lectures, travel tips: What seniors can expect.

A fixed date in the calendar for many older people: the seniors’ fair. From Wednesday to Saturday, Hall A of the Vienna Trade Fair will be transformed into a shopping and entertainment paradise for the young at heart for the 11th time. This year, 175 exhibitors will once again present the latest products and services that make life easier for those over 50. In addition to hearing aids and walking aids, trade fair guests can get travel tips. But the University of Vienna also has a stand for all those who want to start studying in retirement. In addition to advice and sales, an almost 100-part program will be offered on three stages. Professionals shake a leg on the dance floor, and lively visitors are encouraged to join in. Jazz Gitti creates a great atmosphere on the show stage. Admission has no longer been free since last year. Depending on the discount, online ordering or on-site purchase, you have to pay between five and nine euros. Last year there were only half as many visitors as before Corona. “This year there is uncertainty due to inflation and war, but we still hope that the fair will be a success,” says co-organizer Silvia Vogel.
