At 4.15 p.m., several people got out of a small truck in Vienna-Liesig, police witnesses said on Sunday afternoon. 13 people and the tug were stopped by the officers.
After several people got out of the small truck, the tractor is said to have continued its journey. A short time later, the officers were able to stop the alleged tug and find that 13 other people were sitting in the vehicle. Seven men, four women and two unaccompanied minors were among those dragged. They were all taken to a police center or a crisis center. The alleged smuggler – a 53-year-old man from Serbia – was arrested.
