Alone on Saturday in East Tyrol’s Villgratental was a farmer (55) mowing on a steep mountain meadow. He fell and was badly injured. However, the man still managed to get help.
The accident happened around noon: The 55-year-old was at work with a brushcutter on a steep slope interspersed with rocks in Innervillgraten. The man slipped on a ledge and fell. He had no chance to hold on. The East Tyrolean overturned several times and only came to a standstill in a wooded area.The seriously injured person fought his way back to the pathThe seriously injured man fought his way back to the path after the accident and was able to call his son. This set the rescue chain in motion. The 55-year-old was rescued by rescue helicopter and flown to the Innsbruck clinic.
