A farmer in the Wachau had a serious accident with his tractor. Fire brigade, rescue and an ambulance helicopter had to move out.
According to “Krone” information, the approximately 50-year-old farmer was driving his tractor in Weissenkirchen in der Wachau, Krems district, when the accident happened. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, he suddenly fell over an embankment with his tractor and was seriously injured. In addition to ambulance, police and fire brigade, the alerted helpers also went to the scene of the emergency with the ÖAMTC emergency doctor helicopter from Krems. The seriously injured man was stabilized on site by the emergency medical team. Christophorus 2 then flew him to the hospital for further treatment.
