For the first time in its history, the price of SES-imagotag exceeded 80 euros on Thursday at the start of the afternoon, and even well beyond that with a peak of 82.90 euros around 1:30 p.m. Totally indifferent to the fall of the main markets – that of the CAC 40 reaching almost -20% in the space of two months – the action of the world leader in the electronic labeling of articles in the world of physical commerce benefits from the brilliant results published at the beginning of March, with the icing on the cake being the announcement on Thursday of the expansion of the partnership with Walmart.

Noting the success of an experimental phase carried out in a pilot store in Arkansas, Walmart has chosen to deploy the Vusion OS and Vusion IoT platforms across the United States, where the global retail giant operates nearly 4,000 stores.

Preceded by a similar agreement for the Canadian branch of the American group a few months ago, this success with Walmart US is not completely unexpected. This is is no less “a true game changer for SES-Imagotag”, says Louis-Marie de Sade, analyst at EuroLand Corporate.

Expected for many months, this strategic partnership in the United States supports the growth prospects of the group, which aims to achieve a turnover of around 800 million euros by 2023 (compared to 423 million in last year) and provides strong visibility beyond. In addition, winning a customer as large as Walmart, on such a large scale, should help accelerate the conquest of new customers in the region over the next few years, believes Louis-Marie de Sade. In this context, EuroLand raises its target from 80 to 85 euros and reiterates its purchase advice.
