Present at our last AG French Direct, Session: Skate Sim gave a preview of a new content-rich update, including the presence of new skaters in the game. Nakon and Creature Studios is still in early access at the moment, but this update is finally here to bring some new blood.
More complete than ever
It is neither more nor less than the biggest update Session at this stage since the game entered early access. We first note that the team behind the game has focused on the physics of skaters in order to improve their gestures and their connection to their skateboarding, which is very important in a game that is so much about simulation. A new mode is also present, with missions to accomplish all over the map.
We also note the arrival of new mapswith spots Jerome Avenue Banks in New York City and FDR Park in Philadelphia, while life will be a little more present in the streets with pedestrians who will go about their business. With the addition of additional skaters, the game’s cast grows and grows to 9 playable skaterswhich are :

- Beagle
- Ribs Man
- Donovan Strain
- Dane Burman
- Daewon Song
Four more characters have been added on top of that, with branded clothing to customize them.
Session is available through Steam Early Access and the Xbox Game Preview. The full game will be released later on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
