Sex Education deprived of season 5?

The Netflix series has just wrapped filming its fourth season. If its release date is not yet known (probably this summer), fans were wondering if this would be the last chapter of Sex Education. Actress Emma Mackey (Death on the Nile, eiffel) seems to have given the beginning of an answer to this question.

In an interview with our colleagues from RadioTimes.com, Maeve’s interpreter confirmed that she would not be back for a potential season 5: “A season 5? I just finished the fourth last week! No, I don’t think I’m in season 5”she said.
