The Netflix hit show “Sex Education” goes into its third season from September 17th. There are eight new episodes in total.

From September 17th, there will be slippery actions and an open approach to sex: Then the third season of the successful Netflix series “Sex Education” will start, as the streaming provider announced. A total of eight new episodes will be shown.

The core ensemble around Asa Butterfield (24), Gillian Anderson (52), Emma Mackey (25), Ncuti Gatwa (28) or Connor Swindells (24) remains unchanged. New are Jemima Kirke (36, “Girls”) as Headmistress Hope, Jason Isaacs (58, “Harry Potter”) as Mr. Groff’s older brother Peter, music phenomenon Dua Saleh as a non-binary person Cal and Indra Ové (53), the Elsies Foster mother Anna plays.

The virgin Otis Asa Butterfield doesn’t have it easy as the only child of the open-hearted sex therapist (Jean Gillian Anderson). But precisely because the parents do not mince words when it comes to sexuality, the nerd has terrific specialist knowledge. Without further ado, Otis starts a secret underground sex practice at Moordale High School with rebel Maeve (Emma Mackey) and best friend Eric (Ncuti Gatwa).
