Shark attack: pregnant woman jumps into the water and saves her husband

In Florida, a pregnant woman saved her husband's life after a shark attack. She just jumped into the water with the animal.

In Florida, a family outing ended in a shark attack. Andrew, 30, and Mrs. Margot visited the Florida Keys with their family. It was to be an idyllic day: the young couple was on a private boat and actually wanted to go snorkeling.

When Andrew let himself slide into the water, everything suddenly happened very quickly. Margot is said to have noticed a large fin just when the water turned blood red, as the Daily Mail reports. Her husband was the victim of a shark attack right before her eyes. The animal had bitten Andrew on the shoulder.

Despite the lurking danger in the water, Margot, who is also pregnant, should not have hesitated. The woman immediately jumped into the water with the shark to save her husband. With all her might she pulled Andrew on board.

The family brought Andrew back to the coast as quickly as possible, where he was flown to a clinic, seriously injured. Nothing is known about his condition, but Margot has now contacted the public on Facebook. Fortunately, she herself survived the rescue operation unharmed, her husband is on the mend – the injuries are no longer life-threatening. In this context, the woman also announced that the birth of her baby is imminent: "Andrew will be using his injured arm to hold his little girl in just six weeks and that is a miracle ", writes Margot.

The pregnant savior is now being celebrated in the media. She put herself in acute danger in order to save her husband's life. It is now even clear what kind of shark it was: The surrounding boats had spotted a large bull shark in the water that day. It is said to have been three meters long.
