Currently starring in the film I love America by Lisa Azuelos which will be released on March 11 on Amazon Prime Video, Sophie Marceau also does the front page of the magazine She, topless, hands on breasts and open jeans, unvarnished. To see the actress resplendent and all smiles on the cover of the weekly, it is difficult to believe that with her advantageous plastic to 55 years, she also has complexes. And yet, she confirms it without taboo: “We all have complexes, me first, but at some point you have to let go”.

Confident in the latter in complete transparency in the lines of the magazine, the actress adored by the French returns to the difficulty she has, like many women, in seeing the appearance of wrinkles on his face : “Before, I was bad with my extra pounds; today I’m a little bad with my wrinkles, there’s always something” she explains, not without forgetting to specify: “It never stopped me from doing anything”. Having fun with the little ones complex that she was younger – and revealing in passing that she thought she had extra pounds despite her slender figure – the actress says:“When I was 20 and they told me that I was hot or sexy, it made me so uncomfortable… Now, I look at the photos, I say to myself: what an idiot, I was so cute, but it’s in my head, we can’t help it” .

Sophie Marceau: uncomfortable with her wrinkles but not with her age

But make no mistake about it, if the actress recognizes today to be complexed by the signs of age which can be read on her face, she does not see the years which pass with a bad eye and even lives very well the fact of aging: “the older I get, the freer I feel” she, in fact, confided to the She. Besides, she sees no point in clinging to her pace from the time of The party : “Trying to be 20 when you’re 50 is ridiculous” she asserted. Rather than regretting her 20-year-old physique, the actress, who is often taken as a model, prefers to feel “free to grow old” and of “live your 50s to the fullest”. An inspiring state of mind.
