Angelika Gassner and her colleagues have been knitting blankets for Ukraine since May. Now the “Knitting for Peace” project is looking for knitting helpers for a Christmas campaign to deliver blankets for the Ukraine.
Together with Caritas Salzburg, 40 blankets that were created as part of the project are to be sent to the Ukraine via the distribution center by Christmas. Interested parties can find out more at https://eds.at/knitting-for-peace. A total of more than 60 blankets have already been knitted since spring – they were sent to Salzburg and the surrounding area as well as to the Ukraine.
