Mylène Demongeot died this Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the age of 87 in Paris. In 70 years of career, from the boards of the theater to the popular cinema which made her famous, playing alongside Jean Marais, Louis de Funès, Roger Moore, Yves Montand to Frank Dubosc to whom she gave the reply in the Camping saga , Mylène Demongeot has been an actress much appreciated by the public over the generations.

Franck Dubosc did not fail to pay tribute to his friend who played Laurette Pic – wife of Jacky Pic (Claude Brasseur), in a message posted on his Instagram account, accompanied by a photo: “Goodbye Mylène … We will have taken aperitifs”.

Fabien Onteniente, the director of the Camping saga, also reacted. “I still have his voice in my ear but I know that this voice, I will no longer hear it” comments the filmmaker at the microphone of France Bleu Mayenne. He adds : “Mylène Demongeot, when I met her for the first time, I offered her the role of Laurette, Jacky Pic’s wife and she immediately lit up, she composed her character, she took her clothes , her jewelry, lots of intimate things”.

“She created this character in front of me, as we went along, and she made it an almost cult character. She brought a bit of glam to this Flots Bleus campsite, she lit up our campsite”he adds. “They were so into their character with Claude Brasseur that they called each other Monsieur and Madame Pic even on the set”, remembers Fabien Onteniente.
