Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened set for April

Almost two years later Sherlock Holmes: Chapter Onethe Ukrainian studio Frogwares returns with a new title for the franchise sherlock holmes. Billed as a complete remake of Sherlock Holmes: Night of the Sacrificesreleased in 2006, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will be released on April 11, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.

Unsurprisingly, the title will allow you to slip into the shoes of the famous Sherlock Holmes. As a series of mysterious disappearances rage across Europe and the United States, you’ll embark on an investigation that smacks of the supernatural. Indeed, the disappearances all seem to be linked to a sect worshiping an ancient god. The investigation then plunges you right into the myth of Cthulhu, enough to make our favorite detective tremble.

Whatever the plan of this sect, it must be put an end to, under penalty of unimaginable consequences. But this quest for the truth, which mixes sinister legends and real facts, could well drive Sherlock to the brink of madness.

Remake entirely produced on Unreal Engine, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened does not only see its improved graphics. The original scenario has been further developed and new side quests are also appearing. New gameplay mechanics will also be present, especially concerning the management of the madness of Sherlock and his acolytes. Not losing your mind in the middle of an investigation may not be easy.
