Shermine Shahrivar would rather be single than bond with the wrong man. The model has now revealed in an interview.
Model Shermine Shahrivar (38) has had quite a few relationships with celebrity men. Her liaison with Fiat heir and entrepreneur Lapo Elkann (43) made the biggest headlines. But she was also in a relationship with the actors Ralf Bauer (54, "Lu Jong – Tibetan healing yoga"), Thomas Kretschmann (58, "Schneeland") or Xavier Samuel (37, "Eclipse – Bite zum Abendrot") for a while. She also has a daughter Daliah (7) with the Berlin fashion entrepreneur Markus Klossek (52). The "Bild am Sonntag" said Shahrivar now that she does not have a preference when it comes to men.
"It was just always clear to me: I'd rather be alone than lonely with the wrong man. And in the end it doesn't really matter whether someone has a lot of money and is incredibly prominent: If you close the door, you're with that person alone, "said the former beauty queen and native Iranian. She may also be the "rich, famous woman" for one or the other man, said Shahrivar. Much more often, according to her own account, she is told that she is "constantly looking for rich men".
Separated but still friends
Shahrivar has now been single for four years. When it comes to looking for men, she no longer makes any compromises – after all, she is not only looking for herself, but also for her daughter. And even if the love affair didn't always work out, she would still get along "really well" with all of her ex-friends. "There are a lot of friendly, sometimes even family connections," said Shahrivar.
