Headed by the Quebec team of Fika Productions in partnership with Team17, Ship of Fools made the presentations at the French Direct AG. The cooperative roguelite had promised a release this year, and has just lifted the secret on its release date while unveiling a new trailer. Take the helm and hoist the sails, the appointment is for November.
A maritime and cooperative roguelite
Presented as a marino-fishy roguelite during our conference, Ship of Fools puts us in the shoes of the crew of the ship Stromstrider, a group crazy enough to take on a raging and corrupt sea. The objective is to repel the sea monsters while progressing as far as possible. Playable solo, the title is designed to also be playable in two-player cooperation.
Ship of Fools will be available on November 22 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
