Players want the old Warzone back

However, Vanguard isn’t the only reason for the dwindling interest from players. Call of Duty: Warzone has also developed into a problem child. The free Battle Royale shooter was released in 2020 and took the hearts of CoD fans by storm.

However, through countless updates and the integration of CoD: Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard, the popular game became steadily worsened.

Later, to the displeasure of many players, the popular map Verdansk was exchanged for the new map Caldera, which also came with the release disastrously bugged was. This development has also massively damaged the number of active players.

The future of Call of Duty is already set

However, Activision has already initiated corresponding consequences. There will be no new Call of Duty in 2023. In addition, the end of the year a new war zone published that the dissatisfied players should bring back.
