A 3-year-old child was seriously injured and his mother more lightly by gunfire, Friday afternoon in Algrange (Moselle), we learned from the town hall that the ex-spouse could be the author Gunshots.

The shooter opened fire on the hairdressing salon run by the mother of the child since December 7, the same source said, confirming information from France Bleu.

The child, transported by helicopter to the Nancy hospital center, received “a bullet in the head and his vital prognosis is engaged,” said Mayor Patrick Peron. “The shooter tried to end his life and is also hospitalized,” he added.

According to one of his assistants, Yvon Bonaldo, responsible in particular for security issues and who went there, the mother of the child was in the process of separation from her spouse, suspected of being the shooter who tried to commit suicide a little later in Florange (Moselle).

The Thionville prosecutor’s office refused to make any immediate statement. The regional daily Le Républicain Lorrain announced that the mother and the alleged shooter are both in their twenties.
