Traffic jam disaster for candidate Sylvia
Final sprint at “Shopping Queen” in Frankfurt am Main. Today’s candidate is Sylvia and she too hopes to present her perfect look with the motto “Leather Look! Style an outfit with the trend material leather!” to shop. Fashion designer Guido Maria Kretschmer would like at least two leather parts for this. For the sake of animal welfare, these may also be made of imitation leather. Sylvia normally works as a foreign language correspondent in a media company, but today her entire attention revolves around the perfect leather piece. However, this is not so easy for the 59-year-old to find.
Together with shopping companion Olga, she walks back and forth between the same boutiques, because Sylvia is looking for a piece of colored leather, which poses a small challenge for her. In the end, it gets really tight over time. In the bus, the horror scenario of many participants is looming, because the streets of Frankfurt actually seem to put a spanner in the works for Sylvia. Whether she has to step on the catwalk without make-up and what her final leather look looks like can be seen on Vox on Thursday, December 1 at 3 p.m.

Candidate Iryna with a pink and red surprise
Fashion designer Guido Maria Kretschmer is stopping in Frankfurt am Main this week with “Shopping Queen”. Under the motto “Leather Look! Style an outfit with the trend material leather!” five candidates compete and present their shopped look to each other. Today’s contestant is Iryna. Originally from the Ukraine, she has lived in Germany since 2004 and works as a make-up artist, beauty coach and interpreter. The sight of her apartment surprises her fellow campaigners, because the 37-year-old has transformed her home into a sea of pink and red.
When shopping, Iryna hopes for a splash of color that goes with the motto. She would love to shop for a red piece of leather for her outfit. Already in the last few days she has been using a lot of leather in her looks – will she nevertheless create a wow effect with her appearance on the catwalk and be able to surprise the others with the outfit shopped today? Shortly before the end, however, their money runs out. Whether time and budget will ultimately be enough can be seen on Wednesday, November 30 at 3 p.m. on Vox.
