A wild attack on two locals (22 and 18 years old) on Saturday shortly after midnight probably caused quite a shock. In a park, two locals (16 and 15 years old) threatened the two men and demanded that they hand over a pack of cigarettes. When they refused, fists flew shortly afterwards. Victim injured, situation escalated. The 22-year-old suffered, among other things, a broken nose, and his 18-year-old colleague was slightly injured. The two victims were members of a group of six. When the members rushed to help their acquaintances, the situation escalated completely. The two young people pulled out a blank pistol and aimed it at the group. A little later, a few shots were fired. The group then fled. Further investigations are ongoing. The two suspects were identified by a police patrol a short time later in Kufstein and temporarily arrested. They were handed over to their legal guardians. “The blank gun has not yet been recovered. Further investigations to clarify the circumstances of the crime are still ongoing,” says the police. The 22-year-old victim was admitted to the Kufstein district hospital.
