“Sidaction 2021”: Muriel Robin bluffing in Line Renaud, Internet users won over: Current Woman The MAG


Thank you Line. This is the name of the show that France 2 offered on Saturday March 27, 2021 on the occasion of the big Sidaction gala. An evening which, of course, was used to collect donations for the fight against AIDS. But it was also an opportunity to pay tribute to its co-founder, and vice-president: Line Renaud. The 92-year-old actress was thus entitled to many surprises throughout the evening. Alongside Olivier Minne and his friend Jean-Paul Gaultier, the nonagenarian was able to enjoy the performances of some of her favorite artists. She also had the opportunity to relive a cult scene, replayed especially for her by Clémentine Célarié. But one of the gifts that gave him the most pleasure is the one reserved for him by his great friend of always: Muriel Robin. Indeed, the comedian opened the ball with a performance of the most classes: a cover of the song Copacabana, made popular by Line Renaud in France in 1978. Dressed and hair like the singer, Muriel Robin looked like two drops of water to Line Renaud, who could not hold back her tears in the face of so much emotion. Very quickly, the tears turned into bursts of laughter thanks to a new sketch by the wife of Anne Le Nen.

Line Renaud made Sidaction the fight of her life

Line Renaud was not the only one to be affected by this passage. On social networks, many Internet users have welcomed the performance of the sixty-year-old. “Bright”, “she makes me laugh” or “touching” : The compliments have multiplied in the face of this major surprise. Good news for the organizers of the evening as it was so important: indeed, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of Sidaction had been canceled. Line Renaud, who made the fight against AIDS the fight of her life, and researchers are therefore counting on the generosity of donors to continue research. As a reminder, there is still no vaccine against the virus. The weekend of Sidaction 2021 continues until Sunday March 28 in the evening, and donations can be made by calling 110.
