Kommersant, without citing sources, said that due to a lack of necessary paperwork, the turbine, which was on its way back from Canada to Russia, missed a ferry from Germany to Helsinki on Saturday.
He said the turbine could be delivered in the next few days if Siemens Energy and Gazprom change the necessary documents.
Kommersant also said the delivery of the turbine may not result in increased gas deliveries through Nord Stream 1 as several units need to be repaired at the Portovaya compressor station.
Siemens Energy declined to comment, Gazprom did not respond to repeated requests for comment.
Gazprom cut off Nord Stream 1 flows in June, saying it could not retrieve the turbine from Canada. Germany, in turn, has declared that the turbine in question should only be used in September.
