The Silent Hill 2 remake could be released this year, as a past PlayStation trailer suggests. However, an official confirmation from the development studio or the publisher is still pending.

According to Gematsu, Konami simply replied that he would have to wait for future announcements. So there is still no confirmation as to whether the Silent Hill 2 remake will actually come onto the market in 2024.
However, it would be unusual for PlayStation to make such a mistake in an announcement about the Upcoming Games. Accordingly, there could possibly be a detailed announcement from Konami soon.
As the development studio Bloober previously revealed, production of the game is still going according to plan and without any major problems. According to Bloober, the project is by no means canceled.
