What was circulating through the rumor mill has now been officially confirmed: Singer Ellie Goulding’s marriage has failed after five years.
There has been speculation for a long time about an alleged marriage crisis between British musician Ellie Goulding, 37, and art dealer Caspar Jopling, 32. Now the two were apparently forced to make a joint statement due to these rumors. However, they were unable to announce a denial – instead, they confirmed the end of their marriage.
In an Instagram story it says in this regard: “In light of recent news, I feel that I have been left with no choice but to inform you that Caspar and I have separated privately for a while.” At the same time, she would like to emphasize: “We remain the closest of friends and are successfully mastering parenting together, with the well-being of our son in our hearts.”
Nothing more is said about it
Since nothing more will be said about the marriage apart from this statement, the two ask that their privacy and that of their family be taken into account.
Goulding and Jopling made their engagement public in 2018 after around a year and a half of dating. The two got married almost a year later before their child was born in 2021.
