Single-account Wakfu: Server problems for Ogrest

Server openings at Ankama always take place with a few last minute problems. If Temporis are better and better managed, single-account Wakfu is experiencing slowdowns despite Ogrest’s two crash tests.

Wakfu: Opening Ogrest servers encounters some problems

EDIT 4 (6 p.m.): An Ankama Live will take place in a few minutes to clarify the situation

EDIT 3: Ogrest continues to act up, the Wakfu team continues to work on fixes

EDIT 2: The servers will shut down to carry out fixes.

EDIT: Do not hesitate to restart your game from the Ankama Launcher to correct certain lags. Access to Ogrest 1 and 2 is becoming more fluid from minute to minute

Ogrest has just opened and the first server problems are already arriving. Despite 2 crash tests in recent weeks, ending in failures, Wakfu’s single-account mode will still have to wait. The crowds are enormous and the game simply cannot cope with the load, both on the connection servers and in-game. You should notice significant delays between each action, or even the impossibility of finishing the tutorial.

In addition to these problems on the gameplay side, players report other concerns on the purely server side:

  • Inability to connect purely and simply with certain connections: IP refusal or false multi-account detection
  • Infinite queue
  • Endless server choice waiting wheel

The servers are overloaded and the responses to Ankama’s communications are currently full of reports of all kinds. However, some lucky people already seem to be on the servers, although with big lag spikes.

A first fix is also proposed by Ankama for IP problems. If you have several, simply deactivate the network cards that you are not using. A temporary solution that we do not recommend, otherwise the uninitiated may experience other Internet access problems.

As a reminder, the Ogrest servers open in Early Access on October 31 at 2 p.m. All owners of a pack specially for the occasion can join the single account mode. For the others, you will have to wait until November 2 at 4 p.m., even if it means missing a bit of the rush. We do not deviate from the rules of a F2P game!
