Six Nations: “A lot more negative than positive today”, regrets Antoine Dupont

The scrum half and captain of the XV of France was dissatisfied with the performance of his team against Italy this Sunday, despite the victory (24-29).

Antoine Dupont (scrum half of the XV of France winner in Italy 29-24 in the Six Nations Tournamentat the microphone of France 2):

There is nothing to jump around after this victory. We were too undisciplined, we have to shoot more than twenty penalties (18 whistled against France in fact, editor’s note), we know very well that at this level it is not playable and that we will have to quickly rectify the shot. We are going to analyze it but we were not able to stop this contagion which took us from the start of the match. We obviously had words on that at half-time, we were unable to rectify the situation in real time so we will have to do it during the week. We will try to be positive but obviously today there are a lot more negatives than positives. And when you see the score and the scenario, it could have been worse“.
