Obviously wanting to surf on the trend of the moment, the Picsart company, notably known for having developed the application of the same name, has just announced its brand new tool: SketchAI. The objective is clear: to allow users to draw an image, or to download an existing one, and thus apply different predefined artistic styles to it (pencil, sketch, ink, etc.) in order to give it a whole different look.

In fact, SketchAI aims to make you a real artist, even if you have no talent in art and drawing. Equipped with the application, you will be able to transform your roughest sketch into a real masterpiece thanks to the various tools offered. And all of this in no time! Obviously, users will be able to add a personalized description in order to refine the results generated by the artificial intelligence.

Having all the same awareness of the drifts generated by the AIs generating art, Picsart reassures by specifying that it has developed a system of filters in order to avoid all forms of drift. Thus, it intends to restrict as much as possible the generation of works qualified as “dangerous”, namely everything that may concern the representation of violence or the deepfake. The makers of the application have also expressed that SketchAI will benefit from many additions and improvements over time.

If SketchAI offers up to five creations to those who do not wish to checkout, for others you will have to pay $17.99 for a monthly subscription (this of course allows access to an unlimited number of creations). For the time being, the application only seems to be available in a handful of countries, and only on iOS and iPadOS.
