Ski freestyle in Chur – Rudigier and Wolf at the start of the Big Air Fifth

The Tyrolean Hannes Rudigier surprised on Friday evening at the World Cup opener of the ski freestylers in Chur in the Big Air with fifth place. This is by far the best result for the 22-year-old. Lara Wolf also finished fifth in Frauenfeld. The winners were Olympic champion Birk Ruud (NOR) and Tess Ledeux (FRA), who placed second at the Winter Games.

Last year’s winner Matej Svancer got stuck in qualifying as 16th. After successfully entering the decision, Lukas Müllauer did not compete again due to an injury and finished tenth. With Copper Mountain (USA), there is only one other World Cup station in Bir Air in mid-December. Six are planned for slopestyle, starting in mid-November in the Stubai. The freestyle snowboarders also start the winter on Saturday on Chur’s city ramp.
