For years it was the absolute fashion classic: skinny jeans. But now it has fallen off the trend radar – almost. Because a possible combination still makes our fashion hearts beat faster.

Hardly any jeans model has defined the trend picture for as long as skinny jeans. But now we prefer to wear trousers with wide legs, a loose waistband or made of knitwear or leather. Skinny jeans are rarely seen among fashionistas and fashion girls of our time. However, banning them completely from the closet is not a good idea. Because for some possible combinations, it is still the star among pants.

Skinny jeans: this is how we love to wear them this season

While skinny jeans used to be combined with fitted sweaters or figure-hugging blazers, today they go perfectly with oversized jackets and blazers. Why? Because, like yin and yang, they complement each other perfectly and create a wonderful interplay of optical opposites. Cool and casual meets feminine and body-hugging. A combination that will never be out. This is how we wear skinny jeans this season.

Figure-hugging drainpipe meets oversized jackets or blazers

Emma Watson demonstrates it during the Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris: the actress combines a blazer with XXL shoulders with straight-cut trousers. The contrast is strong – and super stylish.

But we also love the skin-tight cut with high heels and a casual oversized jacket with oversized pockets. It conjures up a great silhouette and creates the break we love so much with the casual top. The look is reminiscent of a V: opulent, masculine and voluminous at the top, feminine, delicate and figure-hugging at the bottom.

Best alternative to thin leggings

Another classic in winter are boots. Whether as an over-the-knee variant or sporty in the style of a riding boot, we cannot avoid them this season either. In addition to tights or leggings, a tight drainpipe can also be ideally combined. Because it not only nestles perfectly against the leg and directs the focus to the boot. They also keep you a lot warmer than the thinner leggings – and are therefore perfect for cold winter days.
