Skipper Kevin Escoffier, 43, received an 18-month suspension from the disciplinary committee of the French Sailing Federation. Two weeks ago, he was questioned for inappropriate behavior with a female member of his team’s communications team. Le Canard Enchaîné had broadcast testimonies from women who had suffered harassment or even sexual touching. The FFV then opened a disciplinary procedure while the Paris prosecutor’s office opened a preliminary investigation.
