Skite, a French legend of Fortnite, decides to stop the game

Clément “Skite” Danglot, one of the most successful French players in Fortnite, has just announced on his social networks that he has decided to retire after years of competition.

It is with great nostalgia that we learned of Skite’s cessation, which will no longer participate in Fortnite competitions after nearly 4 years of good and loyal service on the French scene.

In a moving video posted on his Twitter account, Clément Danglot retraced his memorable journey with a victory at the Winter Royale, Lyon eSport and his unmissable participation in the Fortnite World Cup.

At 22, Clément “Skite” Danglot has announced his retirement from Fortnite.

Officially, Skite made his debut in Fortnite competition with the Gamers Assembly which took place in April 2018. He participated with Damziz, Benhz and Renik, former H1Z1 players who placed 6th in this first LAN.

A few months later, he entered official competitions with the Summer Skirmish. He had formed a duo with LeFouBuiteur and had won the Week 7 Day 1 tournament.

At the end of 2018, he proved that he was one of the best French players by winning the Winter Royale EU hands down in front of players like Mitr0 or Issa, pocketing a total of $75,000.

Since then, he has chained remarkable performances with the best French-speaking placement in the Fortnite World Cup (TOP 7 Solo & TOP 10 Duo), a victory at Lyon eSport 2019, TOP 3 in the FNCS Squad grand final with Airwaks, Vato and Nikof.

Epic Games

Skite showed the world what he was capable of at the Fortnite World Cup.

We could still mention many of his performances, but you have already understood why he is considered an exceptional player. To this day, he is the French player who has won the most cash prizes on Fortnite: a total of $861,264 to be exact. He should still remain first for many months, even if Nayte follows him with more $540,000 earned.

In short, it’s a new face of Fortnite esports in France who is leaving after the departure of Airwaks a few days ago. We hope he will be able to bounce back in his career, whether in terms of streaming or a potential new esports game.
