Skull and Bones offers a closed beta at the end of the summer

Repeatedly reported, Skull and Bones was entitled to a few minutes of highlighting during the Ubisoft Forward. A little song and here is the announcement of a closed beta phase to be held from August 25 to 28.

There are a thousand and one ways to present news on a game. By remaining serious, in total shift, or by paying homage to the late E3. It is the latter that Ubisoft chose for Skull and Bones, respecting all the outdated codes of the time. A funny idea to announce that the title, stuck in a development hell for years, may finally see the end of the tunnel.

A little song, a few images spinning in the background, nothing more. A simple display of infinite sadness for a closed beta from August 25 to 28, 2023. Suffice to say that all this does not smack of confidence. Nothing to explain the state of development, the latest catastrophic communications from Ubisoft, or even simply reassure about the quality of the product and its release one day.

Nobody at the French publisher seems to believe in Skull and Bones anymore, and it shows. Courage to the teams who, behind all this, are trying somehow to get a game out. It’s almost over. We wish you very much.
