Skull and Bones: the new release date will be given “very soon”, 30 minutes of gameplay to get back in the bath

We are beginning to better understand the gameplay of Skull and Bones since the presentation this summer: other trailers have since come to give us more glimpses of its various aspects, from the customization of boats to naval battles. But you know it well: while it was becoming more concrete than ever, and despite several consecutive postponements, Ubisoft will not hold the March 9, 2023 release dateand has just postponed the title to an unknown date.

The publisher has also communicated a little more about this report this weekend: it undertakes to continue to improve the experience with new test phases, and promises to confirm a new release date “soon” (“very soon” in English, even).

We would like to share news regarding the release date of our title. We have decided to postpone the release.

Our ambition is always the same: to offer the best gaming experience to our players from day one. This additional development time will allow us to bring the final finishing touches and balance the game by following your feedback shared during the test phases.

We also have engaging content coming to our networks. Tomorrow, join us for our episode of The Deck, where we will show you exclusive gameplay highlighting the universe of the game.

More information on the release date and the next test phases will be shared with you soon. Follow us on the networks to stay informed of the latest news.

Thank you for your support, understanding and patience.

The show The Deck was just broadcast this Friday, for 30 minutes of gameplay commented by the developers. Nothing new under the sun, but if you take the boat running you can learn more about story-driven content, sea exploration and of course ship combat. To maintain interest in Skull and Bones ? You can still pre-order your copy from €79.90 on Amazon.co.uk.
