Max, the Warner Bros. streaming platform. Discovery, finally arrives in France! It is on June 11, 2024 that fans of series, cinema and even sports will be able to discover the offer of this new SVOD service.
What content on Max?
Max brings together programs from HBO, Warner Bros., Discovery, as well as original Max productions (French and international) and major international sporting events.
This summer, via Eurosport, Max will allow all its subscribers to watch the entire Paris 2024 Olympic Games in streaming. But that’s not all: the platform will also broadcast the new season of the series House of the Dragonwhose return is scheduled for June 17.

Max’s range of series will also be well stocked. In addition to HBO content like Game Of Thrones, True Detective, The Last of Us, Succession or Euphoriasubscribers will be able to discover Max Originals series such as And Just Like That and what’s new to come The Penguin And Welcome to Derry. Several original French productions, such as A devoted friendare also on the program for the coming months.
Added to all this is the vast catalog of Warners Bros. with the studio’s biggest films (from the franchise Harry Potter to DC superhero films through the saga Matrix). In short, there will be plenty to entertain Max.

A new service available via Canal+ and Prime Video
From June 11, Max will be available by subscription via its dedicated site and application, as well as on other media thanks to distribution agreements with Canal+, Prime Video, Orange, Free and SFR.

As for Canal+, subscribers to the Ciné-Séries, Friends & Family, Intégrale and Rat+ Ciné-Séries offers will have access to Max from its launch.
On the Prime Video side, Max will be available for subscription via Prime Video Channels and those who currently subscribe to the Warner Pass offer will automatically have access to the entirety of Max at no additional cost.

What prices and packages will Max offer?
Like what other streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+ are already doing, Max will offer several packages to its subscribers.
An option with advertising, called Max Basic with advertising, will be offered at a price of €5.99 per month (for two devices simultaneously and Full HD resolution).
The platform will also have a Standard plan at €9.99 per month (two devices simultaneously, Full HD resolution, up to 30 content accessible offline) and a Premium plan at €13.99 per month (four devices simultaneously, Full resolution HD or 4K, up to 100 contents accessible offline).

These two options will also give subscribers access to the television channels Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, CNN International, Discovery Channel, ID, TCM Cinéma, TLC, Warner TV and Warner TV Next.
For sports fans, Max will also offer a Sports option which will allow viewing of the biggest sporting events and can be added to any basic package for an additional €5 per month.
