Skull Island: Rise of Kong is already the laughing stock of the Internet

Last July, GameMill Entertainment And IguanaBee revealed Skull Island: Rise of Kong, an action and adventure game that allows us to play as the gigantic gorilla and face dinosaurs. A title available since yesterday, the studios have discreetly published the launch trailer without doing too much promotion… and that’s understandable.

If the launch trailer above is relatively classic, showing a game that is technically a little late with an effect cel-shading which hides poverty, the reality is quite different. On social networks, Skull Island: Rise of Kong is cheerfully mocked for its deplorable technical achievement, the game is ugly and the animations are rigid, recalling the worst days of licensed video games 15 years ago. The name of LJNspecialist in practice (like Infograms with us) was even launched! The title is already compared to Lord of the Rings: Gollum, but the latter still had some rare qualities. Some Internet users even go so far as to say that King Kong, developed by Ubisoftadapted from the film by Peter Jackson and released in 2005 on PS2, is still much better today than Skull Island: Rise of Kong.

The editor GameMill Entertainment has not yet communicated about this fiasco, despite the discontent of players who bought the game. Skull Island: Rise of Kong is sold for €39.99on Amazon, Cdiscount Or there Fnacit’s an expensive joke…
