It’s a wonderful surprise that Slimane revealed to its fans this Thursday, January 27. In a video posted on his Instagram account, the singer announced that he had become the father of a little girl whose name he has not yet revealed. Born prematurely, the infant had to spend some time in the hospital, as the young dad explained: “I became the father of an incredible little girl, a little angel, who was born almost two months in advance and who has been in the hospital for a month”, he began, before adding, with tears in his eyes: “I’ve been worrying about her for a month, she has trouble breathing sometimes, she has trouble feeding herself too. It’s been a month that I pray every day for her to get better and so that I can quickly introduce her to all the people who already love her, my family, my friends”. And the day after this announcement, Slimane published a first snapshot of her baby, still on Instagram.
In the photo, the singer can be seen revealed in The Voice 5 placing a kiss on the head of his little girl, well settled in his arms, and obviously still on life support. In the caption of this pretty photo, Slimane wanted to make a very beautiful declaration of love to her child, in the form of a poem : “No more searching no more need I found you. It’s nothing all the harm I’ve been done I found you. I thought I knew everything about love but it’s not true. If I loved them very much. You are much stronger. Look how beautiful we are. On the same boat. Oh no, there is nothing more beautiful. Love is never too much. If you only knew how I love her. Your lagging little heart. And if you’re in pain. You’ll find in my arms. Thousands of I love you”, he wrote.
A musical break for Slimane before returning solo
A publication that sparked tender reactions from his fans, but also from many personalities like Claudio Capeo, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Nicolas Waldorff or even Flora Coquerel. Very discreet about his private life, Slimane has never revealed the identity of his companion. And on the professional side, he announced a few months ago that he was ceasing his collaboration with Vitaa. “Before coming back I hope more than ever I honestly think I need a few months of rest and what better way to tell you see you soon than a new song with a theme inspired by you”, he wrote. Slimane will therefore be able to enjoy his little baby for a few months before returning to the top to resume his solo career.
