Not every woman walks well when she wears four-inch heels. But a classy high heel is a must for fancier occasions. The latest shoe trend could now be the solution for many women who are less comfortable with high heels: slingback pumps are popular.
These are closed at the front and open at the back, and a strap on the heel provides support. The pumps taper to a point at the front and usually only have a small one at the back Paragraph. Overall, the foot looks quite graceful and delicate in the shoes, also known as kitten heels. The leg is also stretched. Since the slingback pumps also score points with their versatility, it is not surprising that they are also well received by celebrities and fashion influencers.
For a business look for the office
Frauke Ludowig (60) and her daughter Nele (20) recently appeared at an event with chic kitten heels. The RTL presenter slipped into an elegant, cream-white satin dress with a leg slit and a light blue coat, and combined the look with white slingback pumps. Daughter Nele, on the other hand, chose the perfect business look for warm spring days. Her high-waist linen pants in beige with pinstripes and the matching blazer went perfectly with a white blouse, black halfmoon bag and black kitten heels.
By the way: Royals like Queen Letizia of Spain (51) and Charlène of Monaco (46) also regularly wear the popular shoe because it goes perfectly with their elegant looks.
For a little black dress in the evening
Fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni (36), among others, showed how well the pump goes with a sexy going out outfit. The Italian sat on the little black dress with spaghetti straps and dark but transparent tights. Bordeaux red slingback pumps with gold details and a perfectly matching handbag provided a slightly colorful accent.
“Vampire Diaries” actress Nina Dobrev (35) presented on her Instagram account another alternative. Her black, tight long-sleeved dress with side cut-outs on the sleeves, back and waist harmonized with her shimmering silver slingback pumps.
